The Crimson ladies put themselves back on top with a great effort in Minnetonka.  The team defeated Burnsville by 42 points to start the weekend.  They then knocked off Eastview and Woodbury to give themselves another opportunity to get back on top against Chaska.  The game was close the entire way and ended in a 31 tie to send it into over-time.  The Crimson knocked down some big baskets to score 7 points in OT for the win.

The Crimson girls fall short in the OMGBA tournament after another run of great compeition.  The girls defeated Edina, Eastview, and St. Micheal/Albertville to play their way into a rematch with Chaska for the Championship.  This time the Hawks came out on top.  It was another very close game.  The Crimson trailed by as much as 16 in the first half and came back to lose by a basket.  There will most likely be a rematch of these two teams in the Tonka tournament the first week of December.

The 8A Crimson girls had an outstanding start to the 2008/09 season winning 1st place in the Eden Prairie Tournament this weekend.  The girls opened up with a solid win over Shakopee despite some 1st game jitters and then got it together to defeat 3 of the top teams in the state.  They  had an  incredible 19 point win over a very tough Roseville team and pulled out a 10 point victory over last years #2 team Woodbury.  The highlight of the tournament was beating the Crimson's long time rival Chaska by 3 points in the championship game.
