The Maple Grove 8A boys started the 08-09 season on the right foot with a championship in the Roseville Early Bird. 

In the opening game against Centennial, Maple Grove jumped out to an early 8-2 start and never looked back, breezing to a 52-28 win.

In the second game against Dayton's Bluff,  a short pregame warm-up found the Crimson a bit out of rhythm.   They found their stride in the second half and ran away with a 53-27 victory.

In the championship game versus Roseville, a ramped up defense found the Crimson with a incredible 20-0 lead.  At the half the score was 30-10.  The final score of 57-38 brought the Crimson their first championship of the season.

The Crimson will play again on Nov 21st in the Maple Grove Tournament.
